New Additions: 8 October 2013
Thank you to all who visited my marquee at the All Italian Day at Tomago House, Tomago on 29 September. Great weather, great food and beautiful Italian cars and bikes. Last month I wasn't sure if I'd be able to make it to the October Granville swap meet; at this stage it looks like I'll be there and also at the Penrith Swap later this month. Late in September I received another shipment of M4 Alfa Romeos, too many to list below; some are restocks but most are new stock so check out my road cars/Le Mans stock lists. I've also got in some Starline models, these are at the "affordable" end of the market but great value given the good quality of the models. As I mentioned last month, I've received some early McLaren F1 cars and also the car (Suzuki) that won the Pikes Peak Hill climb in 2007. There may be some more early McLaren cars from Spark due to next month. Hope to see you on Friday at Granville, until then, happy collecting.

New Additions: 9 September 2013
Firstly, a BIG thank you to all who visited my stand at the Shannons Classic at Eastern Creek and the All British Day at the Kings School last month. I hope you enjoyed the day(s). What's on this month? The regular monthly Granville Swap Meet is on this Friday 13th and also the guys who organise the Penrith Collectomania Fair are running a fair in Newcastle on the 29th September to be held in the PCYC, Young Road, Broadmeadow from 9am - 3pm. Unfortunately I will not be attending the Newcastle fair as I've decided to attend the All Italian Day at Tomago which is on the same day. The All Italian Day is for lovers of all things Italian; cars, bikes and food. Check out their flyer here . Coincidentally Tomago is just a few kilometres north of Newcastle and I'm guessing it's about a half hour drive between the two events. If you're in the Newcastle area, why not attend both?
Now for this months' new additions; surprisingly IXO have released another Le Mans winner, this is the 1976 Porsche 936/76. I've also got some models driven by Aussies overseas as well. And what's in the pipeline? I'm hoping to have some early McLaren F1 cars in by next month as well as another Pikes Peak Suzuki, until then, happy collecting.

New Additions: 05 August 2013
Unfortunately I've decided not to attend the 2013 Diecast Model Expo on the Gold Coast this coming weekend. The logistics of getting to the Gold Coast and then back for the Eastern Creek Classic the following weekend and then having the All British Day the weekend after the Classic was just too much. On the positive side, I will now be able to attend the regular monthly Granville swap meet this Friday. After last month's drought of new F1 additions, this month sees a good spread of modern and classic F1 cars. There's also a swag of interesting sportcars and road cars this month; the highlight being Bruce McLaren's M1A, the team's first self-designed car. The Australian dollar continues to weaken against the other major currencies but I've been able to hold my prices by reducing margins; unfortunately I won't be able to sustain this for long so please expect some price rises in the coming months. Hope to see you at Granville, Eastern Creek and The King's School sometime this month - happy collecting.

New Additions: 08 July 2013
Thank you to all those who stopped by my stand at the Hawkesbury Model and Hobby Show last Saturday/Sunday and I hoped you enjoyed the day. Only a few new additions this month; the highlight being the 2011 Audi R18 TDi Le Mans winner from IXO. I say the highlight only because new releases of IXO Le Mans winners are very rare and sporadic so any new release needs to be celebrated! Compared with Spark, who will probably release the 2013 winner sometime this year, IXO is extremely tardy with their Le Mans winner series.
Some models currently in transit are Ricciardo's 2012 Toro Rosso, Maldonado's 2012 Williams and Raikonnen's first podium in his Lotus. And a reminder the Granville Swapmeet is on this Friday evening (12th July) and then on Sunday 14th July will be the Penrith Collectormania show. Happy Collecting.

The purpose of this update is to remind everyone of the Hawkesbury Model and Hobby Show which is being held this weekend (July 6th and 7th). Details of this show can be found in the Swap Meet page or at http://hmhs.org.au/ . I will be attending so come along and say hello; I'll be located at stand no. 52. Then on the Friday following this show, the regular monthly Granville swap meet will be held on 12th July and then ...let me catch my breath ... on Sunday 14th July will be the Penrith Collectormania show. It's going to be a busy 10 days for me! I hope to see you at least one of these shows. Also, I'd like to announce that I will be attending the All British Day at the Kings School, North Parramatta on 25 August. Over a thousand cars of British heritage will be on display and it coincides with the school's Art Show so there will be something for everyone. New Additions: 11 June 2013
The major news this month is the Australian dollar; with the Aussie being much weaker than the other major currencies, prices of model cars unfortunately will increase. I've tried to keep my prices low but inevitably there are some price increases reflected in this months new additions (mainly a few Spark models). I've received a number of new M4 Alfas this month (all still priced at $35) but I haven't listed them below, however look for the "R" in the stock lists. Hope to see you all at Granville on 14 June. New Additions: 5 May 2013
I'm back in action this month so drop by my stand at Granville on Friday as I've got heaps of new models. Classic McLarens seem to be the dominant theme for this months' new additions with some 70's F1 cars and 60's Can Am cars. But the model of the month would definitely go to the Aussie Invader 5R Land Speed Record car currently being built by Rosco McGlashan for his attempt at breaking the 1000 kph barrier. It's an awesome looking car (or more aptly, a rocket car) and would look great alongside your other LSR cars. What's in the pipeline for next month? I'm expecting some more M4 Alfa Romeo cars and perhaps some nice Neo models. As always, happy collecting.

New Additions: 8 April 2013
Firstly some bad news - I'm still recovering from some minor surgery and my doctor said I can't lift anything heavy for 6 weeks which means I won't be able to attend the April Granville swap. Please accept my apologies for my absence. While I've been recuperating at home I had some time on my hands so I've added a section called "Motorsport Gallery" where I've published some motorsport related photos. I just love March! It's the start of a new F1 season and luckily the Australian GP doesn't fall on the same weekend as the Penrith Swap. The guys at "Australia's Premier Collectables Show" who run the Penrith Collectormania have announced their calendar for 2013. Confirmed dates for Penrith are 10th March, 14th July and 13 October. They also have shows planned for ACT on 7 April, Williamstown VIC on 24 March (Trading cards only?) and in Brisbane on 5th May. At this stage I only intend to be at the Penrith shows. New Additions: 3 February 2013
Wow! One month of the year has already passed by but I have to wish everyone a happy new year once again. Happy Chinese New Year. CNY falls on 10 February and it's the only time the Chinese factories really close down so expect the number of new releases to slow down this month. I mentioned last month the 1967 Hulme Brabham BT20 was in transit, well it arrived in time for the January swap. Spark had previously released the 1966 version of the BT20 and there are differences in the two versions; different graphics and exhaust colours are the obvious ones. So it's well worth adding to your collection especially as it's a World Championship car. In 1967 the Brabham team used 3 chassis, BT19, 20 and 24 and I suspect Spark will release the BT24 at some stage. On the topic of Brabham, Guy Ligier drove a customer BT20 in 1967 and scored his one and only WC point at the German GP; this car has been added to my stock list.
